HIGHLIGHTS: THE NEW PATH PAR SINNOI WONSOOL LEE, BORA KIM, GODAM AND NAYEON LEE

Here's a show that will give you an insight into the artistic wealth of Korea.

A multidisciplinary show, The New Path is presented at the Théâtre Silvia Monfort. A fusion of traditional Korean music, contemporary dance and the visual arts, it is a superb creation by Sinnoi, an innovative creative collective. The show also brings together the talents of Wonsool Lee, Bora Kim, Godam and Nayeon Lee.

Wonsool Lee, famous for his mastery of the haegeum, a traditional Korean violin, offers music that oscillates between tradition and modernity. Bora Kim, dancer and choreographer, brings a physical and intense dimension to contemporary dance in search of memory and identity. Godam, composer and electronic musician, creates spellbinding soundscapes and integrates elements of traditional Korean music using modern techniques. Visual artist Nayeon Lee enriches the show with immersive projections that transform the stage space into a dreamlike universe.

The show skilfully blends diverse artistic elements to create a unique sound and visual experience. The interactions between music, dance and the visual arts are harmonious and fluid, with each discipline enriching the other. The themes explored, such as the search for identity and the relationship between past and present, resonate with great accuracy.

A bold and poetic exploration of contemporary Korean culture, The New Path takes a fresh and vibrant look at traditions while firmly anchoring them in the present.

The show at the Théâtre Silvia Monfort is an incredible artistic voyage, a celebration of creativity and innovation.
