HIGHLIGHTS: SARABANDE BY NOÉMI BOUTIN & JÖRG MÜLLER

Sarabande, conceived by cellist Noémi Boutin and juggler Jörg Müller, is a dazzling performance presented at the Théâtre Silvia Monfort. This poetic work combines classical music and juggling, exploring the relationship between sound and movement.

Sarabande is inspired by Johann Sebastian Bach's Suites for Solo Cello, with the “Sarabande” as its centrepiece. Noémi Boutin, renowned for her virtuosity and musical sensitivity, performs these works with restrained but palpable emotion and great technical precision. Jörg Müller, renowned for his innovative approach to juggling, uses his art to create visual compositions in dialogue with the music.

The minimalist staging emphasises the balancing act between the cello and the juggling balls, creating an atmosphere that is both intimate and sensual. The movements of the balls, orchestrated with great precision, seem to dance to the notes of the cello, producing a powerful blend of gesture and sound.

The Théâtre Silvia Monfort provides the perfect setting for Sarabande to unfold, offering an astonishing aesthetic experience in which the music of Bach and the art of juggling intertwine harmoniously.

Music like you've never seen it before!
