Here is a list of locations that will be hosting the Paris Olympic Games this 2024:
- • Stade de France: Located in Paris’s Saint-Denis district, this iconic stadium will be welcoming audiences to enjoy a jaw-dropping opening ceremony, as well as a closing ceremony to see off the games once they come to an end. During the games’ duration, a variety of athletics events will also be held there.
- • Paris Centre: Paris’s most central sites, such as the Grand Palais, the Champs-Élysées, and the Seine, will be in use during the Olympics for urban sports and events such as beach-volleyball and the triathlon.
- • Palace of Versailles: This stunning historical site, best known for housing Marie Antoinette, will welcome equestrian events.
- • Parc des Princes: The Parc des Princes Stadium, home to the Ligue 1 football team Paris Saint-Germain, will host football and rugby matches over the course of the games.
- • Stade Roland-Garros: This widely-known court will host tennis competitions.
- • Vaires-sur-Marne: Located in France’s gorgeous Seine-et-Marne department, this water site will welcome canoe-kayak and rowing events.
- • La Défense: Paris’s bustling business district will house the Olympic Games’ 3x3 basketball events.
- • Le Bourget: This historic aviation site will present taekwondo competitions.
- • Boulevard Périphérique: A section of Paris’s Boulevard Périphérique will undergo a transformation this summer as it becomes the location for the games’ road bicycle racing events.
