But did you know that many of these are real venues that you can go visit too? Crazy Horse Cabaret in Emily in Paris
If you’ve not watched the new season (spoiler alert!) you’re in for a crazy ride in episode 8.
Emily’s best friend Mindy is no stranger to putting on a show, only this time she’s at the infamous Crazy Horse Cabaret, who are known for their daring routines and barely-there costumes. Emily and Mindy try to devise a way for her to perform ‘Oops ... I did it again!’ despite her fear of going on stage topless — even the actress Ashley Park has admitted how terrified she was to do it at first!
In real life, you can experience the racy costumes and wild choreography from the safety of your seat and leave the horsing around to the professionals. Enjoy a bottle of champagne or delicious dinner with one of our premium ticket offers, in this prestigious cabaret just steps from the Champs Elysées! Ready for a wild ride? La Trompette Bleue Cabaret Jazz Club: Fact or Fiction?
One of Emily’s regular haunts is a stylish jazz club cabaret called La Trompette Bleue. While the name is fictive, the location is very much real! Head over to Montmartre to find its filming double, La Nouvelle Ève, revered as one of the oldest clubs in Paris that helped pave the way for cabaret’s soaring popularity. You might recognise this area as the home of the Sacré-Coeur Basilica, one of Emily’s favourite date spots, and the prettiest street in Paris, Rue de l’Abreuvoir.
If you love the French capital as much as Emily, there is no better tribute than the current show Paris, je t’aime at La Nouvelle Ève. Featuring a spectacular rendition of the classic cancan (one of the few left in Paris!) and the heart-rending songs of Edith Piaf, you will fall even more in love with the City of Lights than you thought possible! Can-can you resist? Get your tickets here!
ACTUAL LOCATION:La Nouvelle Ève, 25 rue Pierre Fontaine, 75009 Paris
Emily and Beyond!
It’s true that Emily tends to explore a select few spots in her fairy-tale version of Paris, but that just means there is so much more to explore that didn’t make the cut! In the capital of cabaret, there is something for everyone, from the oh so chic of Paradis Latin passing by the avant-garde Madame Arthur - Cabaret Drag Show to the très classique cabaret at Cabaret Burlesque
